CONCERT ATTIRE FOR OUR NEW GENTLEMEN Some information regarding concert attire provided on the handouts to the new men is incorrect. Jill Patterson will be giving out updated attire handouts Monday night during announcements. Please be there early to get this important data!!

PIKES PEAK YOUTH RINGERS CONCERTS The Pikes Peak Youth Ringers have 2 upcoming concerts, April 15th at Frontier Elementary School, 7 pm and on May 20th at First Christian Church, 3 pm. You should check them out. As an encore piece they do "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho"!! Jill saw them at Gateway Presbyterian Thursday night and says it was GREAT!!! TEXAS ROADHOUSE COUPONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE The coupons for $5.00 off a meal at the Texas Roadhouse on 8th Street will be on sale again at practice on Monday. March 15th. To date, we've raised $134 for Soli with this offer. If we are able to sell all of the coupons it's worth $300 to the choir! These coupons may be used by you, or given to friends. So show up with your cash or check Monday night and buy a coupon for yourselves or friends. Where else can you get $5.00 off your meal for only $3.00? And for those of you who already have coupons here's a great time to use them. BUTTER BRAID SALE Order forms for the Butter Braids/Cookie Dough sale must be turned in at practice this Monday, March 15th. Prizes will be awarded for the people with the 3 highest total sales. Because there is no practice on March 22 the cookies and Butter Braids will be delivered at practice on March 29, just in time for Easter! If you have an insulated bag it would be nice to bring it to carry the braids/cookies home, but it is not necessary. They are frozen solid and will stay that way until you get home. Keep them frozen until ready to bake.

PROGRAM AD SALES Now is the time to sell ads for the Spring Concert program. The money we raise from ads helps offset the printing costs for the program and raises funds for Soli, which in turn keeps our membership dues lower. Here's a few sales hints for you: In selling, one must be prepared for the knee jerk reaction of "NO". Sometimes you can't budge a person, but sometimes you can. If they say I don't have my checkbook here today, ask when you can return. My beauty shop always takes an ad, but it almost always requires 2 or 3 visits. Remember that it's always easier to ask about an ad when you are spending money at someone's business. Remind your advertisers that a larger size is more visible. Maybe they will say "Oh boy! That''s too much." Then you can say the 1/8 page is ONLY $35. If you just abhor selling, then please think about making a donation of any size. Some people do $25.00, some $100.00 but even $5.00 is appreciated. For those in the process of obtaining ads, be sure to download or print the REVISED AD AGREEMENT from the web site at http://solideogloriacs.org/members.htm since both the form and the rates have changed. The copy for each ad must be camera ready. If you are given a business card as the original copy, it will be hard to make it work for an ad bigger than 1/8 of a page.
