FEEDBACK FROM THE CONCERT

We had words of thanks and support from many people:
Brad Peterson: The evening went well and he was pleased with the performance.
Lew Davis: It has been a labor of love these passed couple of years...supporting Brad has been an honour!
Judy: Great job! Performance went well.
From our guests: Loved the performance! - WOW! - Well done!-Excellent!
By the way, according to the usher count, we had 850 to 900 concert guests on Saturday evening.

IT TAKES A HOST OF VOLUNTEERS TO PUT ON A PERFORMANCE...

... AND EACH OF THEM IS A BLESSING TO US ALL!

  • Music Librarian: Monica Davis orders and handles the music and sees to it that the orchestra scores are returned.
  • Concert Manager: Lew Davis is responsible for all the details of getting the membership where they need to be, as well as finding the ushers, removing the chairs and altar from the sanctuary plus returning everything to its original position after the concert. Lew also put us in concert order, arranged seating for the sitters, set up the orchestra and podium for the director and managed any other details that needed to be done. And thank you to the many who helped Lew with returning everything to its original positions.
  • Concert Program Design, June Hamm not only handled the program design, but did all the layout as well.
  • Concert Program Ad Coordinator: Susan Ramsay put the ads together once they were sold.
  • Concert Ad Sales: Thank you to those who sold ads. The program was completly paid for by those sales with some left over.
  • Concert Attire: Jill Patterson made sure all of us looked great and handled the last minute attire problems. Did you know that black electrical tape can make a great bow tie?
  • Concert Venue Coordinator: Dave Kucera is in charge of our contracts for our rehearsal space, concert space and a place for the board to meet.
  • Public Service Announcements: Colleen Peterson made sure the community was told about our concert.
  • Email Coordinator: Marie McCaughan keeps the choir informed and writes the News and Notes.
  • Webmaster: Terry Brubaker has kept our website up and running.
  • Corresponding Secretary and Butter Braid Lady: Marie Sutter has sent out cards for us to sign when someone is ill, cards for us to sign for Brad and Judy and kept us sweet with the Butter Braid sales.
  • Butter Braid Sales: Thanks to all who sold Butter Braids and cookies, your sales helped keep our choir funding in the black.
  • Section Leaders: Marie Sutter, Beverly G. Decker, Joyce Johnson, Barbara Holding, Mike Dienst, and William Biermann are the attendance keepers.
  • Break Folks: We get our thirsts quenched and a snack due to Eunice Bluhm, Marjorie Roeder, Susan Curtis, Carl Spray, William Biermann, Cheryl Blanton-Chisholm, and many others who step in when asked to serve.
  • Treasurer: Marsha Garcia stepped up and agreed to be our treasurer for the past year.
  • Secretary: Stephanie Stachitus kept our notes on each board meeting.
  • President: Mike Dienst did his best to expedite business in every way compatible with the rights of the members.
